When Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Freddie Flintoff paid a visit to the famous Old Trafford Cricket Ground recently, thoughts were turned towards sticky pudding and not sticky wickets as he was invited to taste the new Christmas menu in The Point, the new multi-million pound conference and events venue at LCCC.
But Freddie was not alone, he was joined by celebrity chef Paul Heathcote (catering consultant to LCCC) and Santa Claus who all spent a very enjoyable afternoon sampling the mouth watering delights that will be served up to guests attending The Points first ever Christmas Parties in December.
Sales Manager for The Point, Peter Ash says: “From the way Freddie and Santa were tucking into the succulent food I think I can safely say that our catering team and Paul Heathcote have produced a menu to be proud of.”
Peter adds: “December is going to be a very exciting time for us as we unveil The Point for the first time to Christmas Party goers. We have lots of different party options in place and whether it’s a celebration amongst friends and family, an office party a buffet menu or a formal dinner our party packages will suit all requirements”.
On arrival for your Christmas Party you will be greeted with a champagne cocktail, you’ll then enjoy a mouth-watering 4-course dinner followed by live entertainment and DJ. If you want to make a real night of it you can book a room in the 68 bedroom Old Trafford Lodge located on-site at LCCC.
The Point, which provides breathtaking views of the famous Old Trafford cricket pitch and has state-of-the-art facilities, is certain to be high on the agenda of Christmas revellers 2010.
