Second One Day International, Harare

Zimbabwe were bowled out for 67 in 31 overs before Sri Lanka raced to a nine-wicket win in the second One Day International in Harare.

At the lunch break, Sri Lanka were 52 for one and closed out the victory after the resumption, needing just 17.3 overs to complete their win and move to a 2-0 series lead with three matches remaning.

Having collapsed from 124 for three to be all out for 127 in the opening match two days ago, Zimbabwe offered even less with the bat after they won the toss.

Spinner Ajantha Mendis finished with four for 14, opening bowler Farveez Maharoof picked up three for 26 and left-armer Thilan Thushara two for 17.

Tatenda Taibu top scored for the home side with 12.

Sri Lanka lost Mahela Udawatte for seven before Upul Tharanga (26 not out) and Kumar Sangakkara (28 not out) saw them home.

The third match takes place on Monday (November 24th).
