Furness took advantage of a weather-affected draw by their rivals Cleator to move even further clear at the top of the North Lancashire and Cumbria League Premier Division.

While they beat Millom by seven wickets, Cleator's match with Haverigg ended without a positive result, enabling Furness (175 points) to stretch their lead to 26.

Cockermouth are in third place with Haverigg in fourth.

Four teams are separated by just three points at the top of the First Division.

Egremont lead on 153, Cockermouth II and Dalton both have 151 while Seascale have 150.

Meanwhile, in the Higson Cup Quarter-Final match that was postponed earlier this year due to more bad weather, Wigton beat Penrith by 30 runs to set up an away semi-final at Furness.
