West Indies captain Chris Gayle is eager for his side to make a good start to the three-match One Day International series against England which begins today (21st May) at Headingley.

“Both teams will be looking for that jump start by winning the first match, so we are super keen to have a good and positive start,” Gayle said.

ODI specialists Ravi Rampaul, Dwayne Bravo, Runako Morton and Keiron Pollard have joined up with the squad, and Gayle spoke of a sense of expectation in the camp.

“These three ODIs are very important and we are looking to get that early momentum and get the early advantage over England," he added.

The other matches are at Bristol (24th May) and Edgbaston (26th May) - to win tickets, click here.
