Gayle, Sammy Back For West Indies
Fit-agiain pair Chris Gayle and Darren Sammy are back in the West Indies Twenty20 International squad for the brace of games against Ireland this week.
Gayle suffered a hamstring injury during the One-Day International series in India in November and missed the tour of New Zealand.
Sammy also suffered a hamstring injury during the tour of New Zealand, missing the two Twenty20 Internationals.
Both players, along with powerful all-rounder Kieron Pollard, missed the recent NAGICO Super50 compettion.
Pollard, however, is still not fit enough to return to action following a knee problem.
From the squad that played in New Zealand, Tino Best, Johnson Charles, Narsingh Deonarine, Jason Holder, Nikita Miller, Kieran Powell and Chadwick Walton all miss out.
As well as Gayle and Sammy coming into the side, Marlon Samuels returns, Dwayne Smith is recalled and left-arm seamer Krishmar Santokie is also called up, having played the last of his two Twenty20 Internationals in 2012.
