Gloucestershire have signed 26-year-old fast bowler Gemaal Hussain, handing the pace man a two-year contract.
He has four years of Bradford League cricket behind him and has recently been involved with London County Cricket Club, twice touring to Cape Town in South Africa.
Jack Russell spotted him playing in the Birmingham League and was delighted to have secured a deal to sign him for the county.
"We are delighted to have discovered Gemaal. We are looking forward to seeing him develop into a top class bowler with us," the former England wicket-keeper commented.
"I am very grateful that Gloucestershire have given me this opportunity," Hussain added.
"It is something that I have been working towards very hard for the last four or five years. I am very keen to embrace the challenge and perform to the best of my ability."
