Eltham College's George Haley has won the first monthly GM Cricket World Batting Award of the season, thanks to a stunning effort in May.

During a school Twenty20 competition, Eltham College played John Fisher in the group stages and he hit an amazing 208 not out in 56 balls.

His blistering innings included some 22 sixes and 16 fours.

He was up against some outstanding other performances including St Just Cricket Club's Harry Medhurst and Coggeshall CC's Tom Pickles.

Medhurst struck an unbeaten 200 against Redruth Cricket Club and Pickles scored three centuries in a row.

George will receive a Gunn and Moore Original LE bat of his choice (chosen for him by GM™'s unique Bat Selector) and an invitation to visit the famous Gunn & Moore factory in Nottingham after the season.
