Gidman Signs New Contract At Gloucestershire

All-rounder Alex Gidman has signed a new contract with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

"I am very pleased to have signed a new contract with the Club," Gidman said. "I am very excited about working with John Bracewell again, and I feel that with the right investment of players and the continued excellent support we get from fans and members we can start to climb the ladder once again."

Chief Executive Tom Richardson commented: "Clearly we are delighted that Alex has signed a new contract. We see him as a very important part of the team both now and in the future."

Gidman made his debut for Gloucestershire in 2001 and has also played for Otago and the MCC, as well as playing for England Lions in 2007.
