Glamorgan have confirmed that Australian batsman Mark Cosgrove will be their second overseas player for the 2011 Twenty20 Cup campaign.
He led the way for the Welsh county with a tally of 952 runs in the 2010 competition and he told the club's official website (www.glamorgancricket.com):
“This will be my fourth season with Glamorgan and I’m delighted to be returning. The Club has a talented squad and I look forward to what I hope will be a successful Twenty20 campaign in 2011.”
Chief Executive Alan Hamer added: “Mark has been an exceptional player for the Club and is very popular player with our supporters and members. We are delighted that Mark will be returning to us again in 2011 as our second overseas player in the Friends Life Twenty20 competition.”
Cosgrove, who moved to Tasmania for this season in Australia having previously represented South Australia, has also played three One-Day Internationals for his country.
