Glamorgan have signed Derbyshire all-rounder Graham Wagg on a three-year deal which will begin at the start of the 2011 season.
Wagg, 27, joined Derbyshire in 2006 having been released by Warwickshire following a drugs ban. His 2010 season had been badly affected by an Achilles injury although he has featured more prominently towards the end of the year.
He was also a member of England's successful 208 Hong Kong Sixes team.
“I’m really happy to have signed with Glamorgan, they are an ambitious club and are steeped in tradition and I’m really looking forward to playing at the newest Test Match ground- the SWALEC Stadium," Wagg told the club's website (www.glamorgancricket.com).
“I know some of the guys at Glamorgan and everyone seems very friendly so I’m looking forward to coming to Cardiff.”
Director of cricket Matthew Maynard added: “Graham is a quality player and a superb edition to the squad. He’s a talented player and I’m sure will help bring some silverware to the club in future years."
