Cricket fans will be able to enjoy the Greenall's Gin Bar when Old Trafford hosts the second One-Day International between England and Australia on 8th September.
Greenall's Original London Dry Gin embarked on a busy summer with the announcement of their partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club and Emirates Old Trafford.
They hold exclusive pouring rights at the ground until July 2014.
The second One-Day International will see fans again able to cool off before, during and after the match at the Greenall's Gin Bar and enjoy a classic G & T with a wedge lime, at a time when consumer analysts Nelson report that gin production in Britain has grown by 23 per cent in the last 10 years.
"There is a great synergy between Lancashire County Cricket Club and Greenall’s with over 300 years of
North West heritage between us," Geoff Durbin, Commercial Director at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
"We are proud to have Greenall’s Gin as our official partner and we are sure that our many customers will enjoy the quality of Greenall’s Gin during their visits to Emirates Old Trafford."
Sinead O’Frighil, Global Brands Development Manager at Greenall’s Gin added: "Greenall’s Gin is proud to be the only supplier of gin at such a prestigious and highly coveted sporting event that combines two of the Great British traditions, the G&T and cricket.
"We’re especially delighted to be working with another great brand from North West England."
