Greenidge Leaving Gloucestershire Before Season End

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club announce today that they have agreed with Carl Greenidge that he will be leaving the Club now rather than at the end of the season as announced 10 days ago.

Chief Executive, Tom Richardson said: "Having talked this through with Carl it was unlikely that he would play much in the next couple of months so it became clear that this was the best course of action for both him and the Club.

"We would like to thank him for his contributions to the team over the past 4 years. Carl is a popular player with both the squad and the off the field team and he will be missed. We wish him every success."

Carl Greenidge added: "I have enjoyed my time with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and I wish the Club and the team all the best for the future."
