After a long and successful association spanning from South African schoolboy to the present day, Gunn & Moore has announced that their sponsorship agreement with Jonathan Trott has come to an end.

His overall first class record speaks for itself; in a career of 186 matches from 2000-2012, which includes games for Boland, Otago and W Province, Jonathan scored 12,343 runs at an average of 44.88 including 29 centuries and 60 fifties – all scored with Gunn & Moore.

His career blossomed when he moved to England where to date he has scored 7,786 runs for Warwickshire averaging 46.07 and 2,676 international runs for England at an average of 50.49.

His Test career using Gunn & Moore has been remarkable. In his debut Test against Australia in 2009 he scored 119 and subsequently he has achieved an overall Test average against the Australians of 86.42. He also scored 2 Test double centuries, one each against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

During his partnership with GM, he was also Man of the Series against Pakistan in 2010 and won three major awards in 2011 - Wisden Cricketer of the Year, ECB Cricketer of the Year and ICC Cricketer of the Year.
