Fit-again Martin Guptill is included in both New Zealand's squads to face England in May and play in the Champions Trophy in June as Mark Gillespie also returns to the Test squad, Daniel Vettori to the ODI squad and Luke Ronchi is called up for the first time.
Guptill missed the Test series against England at home with a combination of hamstring and thumb injuries, the latter of which required surgery.
Pace bowler Mark Gillespie is also added to the Test squad that just missed out on a series win, drawing 0-0 at home in a three-match series.
New Zealand play two Tests in May at Lord's and Headingley after warm-ups against Derbyshire and England Lions.
Brendon McCullum continues as captain with former skipper Ross Taylor taking his place in both squads. Both players will miss the team's first warm-up match but join up with the squad in time to play the England Lions.
The 15-player squad for both the One-Day Internationals in England and the Champions Trophy sees Daniel Vettori make his return to international cricket after an eight-month absence.
Former Australian wicket-keeper Luke Ronchi is also included having completed his qualification period and Mitchell McLenaghan returns from injury.
The three-match ODI series begins on 31st May with matches at Lord's, Southampton and Trent Bridge before the Champions Trophy gets underway on 6th June, New Zealand playing Sri Lanka, Australia and England in their group.
They finish off their tour of England with a brace of Twenty20 Internationals on 25th and 27th June and will name a squad at a later date.
"It was great to see how many players took their opportunities in the recent ANZ International Series. Performances from the likes of Hamish Rutherford, Mitchell McClenaghan and Peter Fulton have added real depth to the side," Kim Littlejohn, General Manager of National Selection, said.
"The ODI squad has a core group of players who have now played in a number of international tournaments and bring a wealth of experience. Having Daniel Vettori back in the side adds to that and we’re really excited to have someone of his quality back in the team.
"Luke Ronchi gets his chance after impressing on the domestic scene. We know how dangerous he is and look forward to seeing him display his talents on the international stage."
