Guyana were pushed hard before pulling off a four-wicket win over Combined Campuses & Colleges and take a second victory in the WICB Caribbean T20 competition.

Despite restricting CCC to a modest 142 for nine, Guyana needed until the final over to reach their target with Jonathan Foo continuing his impressive tournament with an unbeaten 23 in 17 balls. Captain Ramnaresh Sarwan had earlier made a brisk 29 to help set up the victory.

Lennox Cush impressed with the ball once again as he took four for 30 to stop the CCC batsmen scoring freely although Floyd Reifer - like Sarwan a former West Indies captain - smashed 49 in 31 balls.

Apart from Reifer, only Miles Bascombe (36) and Nekoli Parris (17) could reach double figures.

In the other game Barbados beat Windward Islands by 39 runs. Alcindo Holder smashed an unbeaten 46 in 23 balls as Barbados made 159 for six before the Windwards limped to 120 for nine with Javon Searles taking four for 19.

The results mean that both Barbados and Guyana join Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago in the semi-finals.
