Hampshire Cricket Partners With Virgin Atlantic

Hampshire Cricket Limited today [Thursday 2nd June] announced the signing of a one year partnership with Virgin Atlantic.

The deal will see the iconic brand become an Official Travel Partner to the club. It will also mean Virgin Atlantic will have a presence at key events in the Rose Bowl calendar including a number of the Hampshire Royals’ Friends Life t20 competition fixtures and the immensely popular ‘Business South’ exhibition held at The Rose Bowl in February 2012.

Hampshire fans will benefit from the chance to win the Best Seat in the House – including complimentary refreshments and service from a designated Virgin Atlantic airline crew – at the Royals’ matches against the Surrey Lions on the 3rd June and against the Middlesex Panthers on the 15th July. In addition, 1,500 of the airline’s ‘K-ID packs’ will be handed out to youngsters at six Hampshire Royals Friends Life t20 matches.

Speaking about the deal, the Hampshire Cricket Group Commercial Director Zac Toumazi said: “Having a prestigious company such as Virgin Atlantic as an Official Travel Partner is a major development for Hampshire Cricket.

"The Club is hugely excited about the potential benefits of this deal and the opportunities afforded to it to move ahead creatively. I welcome Virgin Atlantic to our family of partners and look forward to many years of us working together."

Paul Wait Virgin Atlantic General Manager, Sales added: "Virgin Atlantic is delighted to be beginning a relationship with Hampshire Cricket this year and we look forward to developing the relationship over some years to come.
