Hampshire Cricket is delighted to announce that accountancy and wealth creation specialists, PROBIZ will sponsor the team’s LV= County Championship shirts for the 2011 season.
PROBIZ has existing major sponsorship arrangements across a range of sports including football, cricket and rugby league and has just been named as sponsor of the Rugby League's prestigious World Club Challenge.
They also count Hampshire club captain Dominic Cork as one of their company Ambassadors.
Hampshire Cricket Group Commercial Director Zac Toumazi said: “I am very pleased to welcome PROBIZ to the club. They are a company who have shown their commitment to investing in sport at the highest level and so they are a brand that the players and fans can be proud to have on the front of their shirts.
“I am especially happy that they have joined for the upcoming season as I’m sure all eyes will be on Hampshire in the LV= County Championship. 2011 marks 50 years since our first Championship title and so, having assembled an excellent squad capable of challenging for silverware, we are more determined than ever to win it again.
“I hope this will be the start of a long and very successful partnership between Hampshire Cricket and PROBIZ both on and off the pitch.”
PROBIZ Founder Feisal Nahaboo said, "It's an amazing feeling to be front shirt sponsors of such a successful and reputable cricket club. I live a couple of miles from the border of Hampshire so it feels like I'm partnering with my home county.
“We are delighted to establish our company brand with a club that we believe can win trophies, especially at such an exciting time in their development. With such a significant history in the sport Hampshire ticks all the boxes.
“We wish the players, officials, fans and all stakeholders associated with the club the best season yet. PROBIZ will support the club both on and off the field and we also hope this is the beginning of a long-term partnership.”
