Like many clubs around the country, Harrow St Mary's fixtures this weekend were severely hit by the bad weather.
While the second and third team matches were abandoned without a ball being bowled, the first team did get their game underway.
However, after losing their top three batsmen without scoring and then slipping to 11 for four, the rain fairly rescued them at the start of their league campaign.
Better weather rolled in on Sunday and centuries for Sam Blennerhassett (105) and Curtley Leow (119) helped HSM post 284 for four against Wilkinson Way on their way to a comprehensive win.
Daniel Murphy was the pick of the bowlers with three for six in five overs - including a hat-trick.
The Under-10s beat West Harrow by 45 runs in a 16 overs per side match.
