Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques has been fined 10 percent of his match fee following the opening Test against India in Chennai.
He breached the ICC Code of Conduct by having a manufacturer's logo displaying on the chin strap of his helmet.
That is a breach of the specific requirements of the ICC's Clothing and Equipment Regulations and the charge was brought by umpires Marais Erasmus, Kumar Dharmasena, Vineet Kulkarni and Krishnaraj Srinath.
Henriques accepted the charge and the sanction proposed by match referee Chris Broad.
Debutant Henriques scored half-centuries in both innigns for Australia before India ran out eight-wicket winners on the final day.
Meanwhile, Jackson Bird has been ruled out of the remainder of the tour after scans in Australia revealed a bone stress injury to his lower back.
He is set for further tests and will not rejoin the squad in India.
