Hertford Confirmed As Champions

Hertford beat nearest challengers Reed by 42 runs to win the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League Division One title.

Hertford made 232 for nine in 53 overs before bowling Reed out for 190 in 45.5 overs to move into an unassailable 54-point lead at the top.

Totteridge Milhillians are two points further back and will compete with Reed for the second promotion place after they chased down 265 to beat Ampthill Town.

There were also wins for Langleybury, Luton Town & Indians and St Albans.

The battle in Division Two continues. Dunstable lead with 434 points after beating Kings Langley and Botany Bay are next on 418 after they defended 177 to beat Broxbourne, who are third on 389.
