Himley CC are inviting cricket fans throughout the region to enjoy the thrills of floodlit T20 action throughout next week.
The club are staging the Black Country Floodlit T20 tournament from Monday to Friday after the success of last year’s inaugural event.
And it’s a great opportunity for parents to treat their youngsters to a great night out during the school holidays at the Stourbridge Road venue.
The Birmingham League club, who have a reputation for their welcoming facilities and friendly atmosphere, take on Walsall, Wolverhampton and Old Hill in a feast of action.
And on Thursday there is a one-off game between the pick of the Birmingham Premier Division home grown talent and a young Worcestershire side with some special international guests lead by Ben Smith.
Himley’s Greg Wright said: “This event was a huge success last year and we feel sure this year’s event will be equally spectacular.
“All the usual T20 action you'd see on TV will be on show with lights, coloured clothing and balls plus music and on field entertainment, thanks to our sponsors Marstons, Lensons and Horizon.
“Our message is for people of all ages to come down and enjoy the entertainment!”
Himley launch the competition on Monday at 5.30 with a clash against neighbours Wolverhampton, followed immediately by Walsall against Old Hill.
