Jamaican all-rounder Wavell Hinds is to replace Dwayne Bravo in the West Indies squad to take on Australia in the limited overs leg of their tour.

Bravo sustained a finger injury during his time with Victoria during the KFC Big Bash Twenty20 and is set to return home and is expected to be fit for the start of the home ODI series against Zimbabwe in March.

Hinds, a veteran of 45 Tests, 114 One-Day Internationals and one Twenty20 Internationals, last played for the West Indies in October 2006 during the Champions Trophy in India.

Bravo had been named as Chris Gayle's vice-captain but no new vice-captain has been named. The tour resumes with the first One-Day International in Melbourne on 7th February.
