Hong Kong have been penalised for maintaining a slow over rate during their 155-run defeat to Pakistan in their opening Asia Cup match in Karachi.

Despite finishing their overs some 25 minutes after they were supposed to, they were deemed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to be one over short, and as such captain Tabarak Dar was fined ten percent of his match fee with the rest of players fined five percent.

Hong Kong play India today in Karachi in only their fourth ever One Day International.
