
There were wins for host India as well as Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka on the opening day of the Blind Cricket Twenty20 World Cup in Bangalore, India.
The home side - and many people's favourites - comfortably defeated Australia by 215 runs, scoring 341 for two before Australia closed on 126 for eight.
Nepal beat Bangladesh by nine wickets. Bangladesh batted first and made 154 for seven but Nepal needed just 7.3 overs to overhaul their target thanks to Surya Prasad Bhattarai's unbeaten 78 and Bikhadur Rana's 54.
Pakistan scored 329 for one and then held England to 163 for seven to get off the mark with a 166-run victory while Sri Lanka beat South Africa by seven wickets.
