Hot Spot - Could Durham Retain Their LVCC Title? - Cricket World TV

In their latest county cricket Hot Spot cricket discussion video, Matt Carter and John Pennington give their thoughts on the most recent LV= County Championship and NatWest T20 Blast action.

Reviewing the County Championship Division One, which continues to be as competitive as ever, they ask whether Durham, who thrashed Sussex this week, could mount a late charge to retain their title.

But with wins for Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lancashire this week as well, it is still wide open.

It was a quieter week in Division Two with leaders Hampshire and Worcestershire not playing but there was more to talk about in the T20 Blast.

And in a new feature, JP puts Matt 'On The Spot' by asking him whether Alastair Cook is still the right man to lead England.
