John Pennington and Matt Carter look back at round three of the LV= County Championship and preview the next set of matches - hoping for better weather this week.
After all six matches this week were badly affected by the rain and bad light, only Yorkshire managed to win, beating Northamptonshire by an innings.
That left many of the other teams frustrated, but there were still plenty of talking points including the form of potential England players, veterans putting younger players to shame and Mick Newell's appointment to England's selection panel.
There are eight matches beginning tomorrow, all of which could serve up some great entertainment, although the weather needs to improve!
