Hot Spot - Review Of Ireland In The West Indies - Cricket World TV

Ryan Bailey and John Pennington look back at Ireland's performance in the NAGICO Super50, where they beat reigning champions the Windward Islands but lost to Guyana and Jamaica.

They discuss how much the team gained from the tournament and which players impressed and how they were hampered by losing Paul Stirling and John Mooney.

Now, their focus turns to two Twenty20 Internationals and a One-Day International against the West Indies and then Ryan gives his view on the recent ICC changes which will see a pathway for Ireland to play Test cricket open up.

But is it enough? And will the proposed increase in funding help them close the gap on their competitors?
