England batsman Ian Bell will miss the fifth and final One-Day International against India at Headingley after fracturing a toe ahead of the fourth game at Edgbaston.
Bell suffered the injury during training at his home ground and missed the fourth match, which England went on to lose by nine wickets.
Now 3-0 down in the series, the team moves on to Headingley without Bell, a veteran of 148 ODIs.
"England and Warwickshire batsman Ian Bell has been ruled out of the final Royal London ODI against India on Friday with a small fracture to his left big toe sustained yesterday before the ODI at Edgbaston," an England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) statement confirmed.
"Bell will not be replaced in the squad for the remaining match," it added.
Gary Ballance replaced Bell at Edgbaston and would be expected to retain his place in the side in Leeds.
England ODI squad: Alastair Cook (captain), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Gary Ballance, Jos Buttler, Steven Finn, Harry Gurney, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Eoin Morgan, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, James Tredwell, Chris Woakes
