Ian Bell rang in the New Year by signing a three-year deal with Woodworm, whose bats and equipment he will now use as he bids to start 2016 in the runs.

Woodworm Cricket Chief Executive Simon Millington is pleased to welcome Bell, a veteran of 118 Tests, 161 One-Day Internationals and eight Twenty20 Internationals, on board.

"We are delighted to add someone of Ian’s class to our player roster and help build on our global reputation," he said.

"His knowledge and passion for the game will help us continue to set the standard in highly innovative, quality cricket products."

Bell, who has won the Ashes five times with England and has played for Warwickshire since 1999, is enthusiastic about the new deal.

"Ever since I have been in the England dressing room there has been a buzz about the quality of the Woodworm products, in particular the bats, so I am very excited to join Woodworm and help them further enhance their product range and Worldwide exposure," he said.
