New Zealand are finalising their preparations for the ICC World Twenty20 two men light after batsman Rob Nicol and Tim Southee were unable to travel to Kandy due to illness.
Both players reported feeling unwell - Southee before the warm-up match against South Africa and Nicol - after and will remain in Colombo.
Southee is to receive hospital treatment after becoming dehydrated and should his condition improve, he will travel with Nicol tomorrow.
New Zealand begin their campaign against Bangladesh on Saturday (21st September).
Meanwhile, Daniel Vettori is travelling to Kandy having been ruled out of the warm-up match through illness.
