The Sri Lankan players will head into Sunday's ICC World Twenty20 final against Pakistan slightly worse off after they were fined for maintaining a slow over rate during their semi-final win over the West Indies at The Oval.
The match officials ruled Kumar Sangakkara's side were one over short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration during the 57-run win over the side from the Caribbean that earnt the Sri Lankan side its first appearance in the final.
Captain Sangakkara was duly fined ten percent of his match fee while the reamining players lost five percent.
The final takes place at Lord's at 1400 GMT.
