Tickets for the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the Caribbean have now gone on sale to the rest of the world after fans in the Caribbean were given the first chance to snap them up from 1st November.
The event gets underway on 30th April of next year and both men's and women's tournaments will again be run in parallel with the finals held in Barbados with Saint Lucia, Guyana and Saint Kitts also hosting matches.
Prices range from US$3 to US$40 and under-16s will be granted free entry to group matches and entry to group matches of the women's tournament in Saint Kitts will be free to all.
“In line with the past three major ICC events, we have ensured the ICC World Twenty20 2010 will be accessible and affordable,” ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat commented.
“We want this event to be a celebration of cricket with all the atmosphere, fun and excitement traditionally associated with the game in the West Indies. We believe the pricing structure in place is very fair and gives great access to this wonderful spectacle for the people of the Caribbean as well as visiting supporters."
