India's Yusuf Pathan hammered 105 in 70 balls but his belligerent innings was in vain as South Africa won the decisive fifth One-Day International by 33 runs at Centurion Park. Hashim Amla's less aggressive, but no less impressive 116 had enabled South Africa to post 250 for nine from 46 overs and India were then bowled out for 234 in 40.2 overs as South Africa took the series 3-2.

Half-centuries from Hashim Amla and JP Duminy set up South Africa's 48-run over India in the fourth One-Day International in Port Elizabeth that levelled the five-match series at 2-2 with one match to play. Batting first, South Africa scored 265 for seven and in reply, despite Virat Kohli's unbeaten 87, India closed on 142 for six having been set a revised target of 260 in 42 overs. When play was ended, they needed to have scored 191 to win.
Yusuf Pathan blasted 59 in 50 balls and Zaheer Khan picked up three wickets to underpin India's two-wicket victory over South Africa in the third One-Day International in Cape Town. South Africa were bowled out for 220 after winning the toss but despite chasing under lights at Newlands being anything but easy, India got home with ten balls to spare.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) is hopeful that following its opening match between South Africa and India, the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban could feature more regularly as an international venue. The stadium, built for the 2010 football World Cup, saw India beat South Africa by 21 runs in the one-off Twenty20 International.
India will lock horns with South Africa in the opening match of the five-match One-Day International series in Durban on Wednesday. Both teams would look to field a full strength side in search of getting the combination of players right ahead of the World Cup in Asia. In the Indian context, the seniors, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan could make a return as they were rested in the ODI series against Kiwis.
Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina played starring roles with the bat as India beat South Africa by 21 runs in the one-off Twenty20 International at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Sharma made 53 and Raina 41 as India made 168 for six which they followed up by restricting South Africa to 147 for nine as Ashish Nehra and Yusuf Pathan bagged a brace of wickets.
After the Test series was drawn at 1-1 at Newlands, CapeTown, the action now shifts to the only T20 international between India and South Africa at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban. This will be first time this venue will be hosting an international cricket match.
