India have added Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla and Parvinder Awana to their squad as they consider their options ahead of the fourth Test against England in Nagpur.
England lead the series 2-1 following back-to-back victories in Mumbai and Kolkata and amid plenty of calls for changes, the selectors have responded by leaving out Zaheer Khan as well as Yuvraj and Harbhajan Singh.
Jadeja recently completed his third first-class triple-century and provides an in-form option to replace one of the misfiring batsmen with Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli struggling in the series.
Ajinkya Rahane and Murali Vijay's presence adds some pressure to openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir while pace bowler Awana, along with Ashok Dinda, may be in line to replace the dropped Zaheer as India's bowlers have also struggled.
Chawla played the first of his two Tests against England in 2006 and the leg-spinner has replaced experienced off-spinner Harbhajan Singh as the third spinner in the squad.
Yuvraj has at least been named in the Twenty20 International squad for the two-match series that follows the fourth Test. Uncapped Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also included along with Awana, Rohit Sharma and Manoj Tiwary.
