India will tour New Zealand in January and February to play two Tests and five One-Day Internationals.

India will arrive in New Zealand soon after their recently scheduled home series with the West Indies with the venues for both series yet to be confirmed.

The matches give New Zealand 37 days of international cricket in their summer programme as they also host the West Indies.

"It's brilliant that the BLACKCAPS will be playing five ODIs against the world’s top one day side given the proximity of Cricket World Cup in 2015," White said.

India have not toured New Zealand since 2009, where they won the Test series 1-0, a key result in helping them reach the top of the Test rankings.
