India Women continued their dominance in the ongoing Women's Quadrangular Series after they bowled out Zimbabwe for 93 runs and chased down the target in 18.3 overs with nine wickets in hand to maintain their unbeaten streak.
Zimbabwe decided to bat first on winning the toss. With the Indian new ball bowlers striking at regular intervals, Zimbabwe lost their top five batters in single figure mark and were reduced to 30 for five.
Pellagia Mujaji (13), Precious Marange (17) and Josephine Nkomo (17 not out) were the only players to have reached the double figure marks as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 93 runs in 38.4 overs. Rajeshwari Gayakwad (3-25) was the pick of the Indian bowlers with a three wicket haul.
In reply, Nkomo (1-41) trapped Veda Krishnamurthy (0) LBW in the third ball of the innings, but Harmanpreet Kaur (38 not out) and Mona Meshram (46 not out) ensured they saw the team through in 18.3 overs with nine wickets in hand.
