Bangladesh's selectors have left out fast-bowler Rubel Hossain from their provisional squad of 30 for the ICC World Twenty20. Other than that, there are no surprises with all the regulars included as well as six uncapped players from the domestic circuit.
Rubel's exclusion is largely because of the injury that he sustained in February during the inaugural edition of the Bangladesh Premier League. He hasn't played top-flight cricket since then and the selectors apparently decided not to risk him.
The six uncapped players in the squad are all consistent perfomers on the domestic circuit. They are Mominul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Sohag Gazi, Kamrul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain and Alauddin Babu.
