The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that 17-year-old Beth MacGregor will replace Anya Shrubsole in England Women's squad after Shrubsole suffered a hip injury.

Shrubsole picked up the injury during England's comprehensive warm-up win over Ireland earlier in the week and missed the opening One-Day International at Taunton, which her side went on to win by one wicket.

MacGregor, who made her debut for Essex in 2008, is a left-arm swing bowler and will add variety to England's attack.

She has taken 12 wickets in 18 one-day matches for her county but has also scored a century and averages 35.75 with the bat, all of those wickets and the century, against Worcestershire, coming this season.
