International Ticket Demand Breaks Last Year’s Record
Gloucestershire County Cricket Club have reported record tickets sales for this years International at the County Ground. The NatWest Series Floodlit ODI match in August has recorded better initial ticket sales in comparison to last years International match at the Bristol ground.
Over 10,000 tickets have so far been sold for this year’s International in less than 2 months of being on sale, in comparison to sales totals in January 2006 (after 3 months of being on sale) of 8,500 tickets.
The floodlit match between England and India is being held on Friday 24th August 2007 and will begin at 2.30pm. The Club have been reporting a high interest in tickets since going on sale in November with two stands (Stand A and B) selling out in only 2 days. An influx in Christmas present sales led to a further 2 stands (Jessop and Hammond) selling out in December.
