Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf and all-rounder Abdul Razzaq could be in line for returns to international cricket after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lifted a ban on both players after they resigned from the Indian Cricket League.

"Mohammad Yousaf and Abdul Razzaq have resigned from ICL and their resignation has been accepted by the ICL," a PCB statement said.

"According to ICC directive all Boards to take decision against such players on case to case basis as they deem fit. PCB has therefore confirmed that both players will now be available for Pakistan team selection."

The pair were two of the most high profile Pakistanis to take part in the league, which has failed in its bid to be recognised as unofficial cricket and a number of countries have offered players the chance to sever their ties with the league and return to domestic and international cricket.

Although the decision comes too late for the pair to be selected for the ICC World Twenty20, the pair could feature on upcoming tours such as the Champions Trophy and the tour to Australia later this year.

Yousuf has played 79 Tests and 269 One Day Internationals, while Razzaq, who has been in sparkling form during the RBS Twenty20-Cup in Pakistan, has played 46 Tests and 231 One Day Internationals.
