Pune Warriors India captain Sourav Ganguly has been fined $US 20,000 after his side maintained a slow-over rate during their defeat to Deccan Chargers in Cuttack.
Ganguly's side was ruled to be nine balls short of its target when time allowances were taken into account.
As it was Ganguly's first offence, he was fined $US 20,000.
Pune lost the game by five wickets and now stand seventh in the table with six group games still to play.
