Pakistan have named their 14-man squad for the Asia Cup, which begins on 11th March in Bangladesh as they bid to win the title for the first time since 2000.
Misbah-ul-Haq has been retained as captain and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has handed recalls to opener Nasir Jamshed and wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed.
All-rounder Shoaib Malik, 'keeper Adnan Akmal and opening batsman Imran Farhat have been dropped.
Jamshed, who has played 12 One-Day Internationals in his career to date, last represented Pakistan in 2009 while Sarfraz played in Bangladesh in December before making way for Akmal ahead of the 4-0 series defeat to England in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan play Bangladesh in the opening match on 11th March before takng on Sri Lanka (15th March) and India (18th March).
The final is on 22nd March and all matches are played at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur.
