Jason Mohammed called-up for T20I series against Pakistan

Trinidad & Tobago batsman Jason Mohammed has been called-up for the upcoming Twenty20 International series against Pakistan following his consistent performance in the 50-over format.

Mohammed, who was included in the One-Day International squad for the recently concluded series against England scored 72 and 50 in the first two games at North Sound and has replaced Darren Bravo from the squad that played against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.

Also included in the squad is Jonathan Carter, who also had an impressive series against England with scores of 39, 46 and 46 and can be handy with the ball too. Rovman Powell and Kieron Pollard have managed to retain their places in the side in the absence of Dwayne Bravo and Andre Russell.

Bravo is yet to recover from a hamstring injury while Russell is on the sidelines facing one-year ban for a doping code violation.

Lendl Simmons also makes a comeback to the squad along with Veerasammy Permaul which remains the only other additions in the squad while Nicholas Pooran has been left out.

The two teams will compete in a four-match T20I series between 26th March and 2nd April.
