Jenny Gunn To Appeal Against Suspension

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that England Women's bowler Jenny Gunn will appeal after she was suspended from playing state cricket in Australia by Cricket Australia (CA).

After playing for Western Australia, where her action raised concerns, she was tested under the CA Doubtful Bowling Procedures Process and none of her deliveries complied with the 15 degrees of elbow extension tolerance.

As a member of the England Women's World Cup squad, the findings come at a bad time for Gunn and she is appealing the decision, with the support of the Western Australia Cricket Association and the ECB.

England Women To Take On Ireland And Pakistan

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that England Women will play their counterparts from Ireland and Pakistan in three additional Twenty20 Internationals in June and September. They will play Ireland on 23rd June at Loughborough as part of their preparations for the series against India Women and take on Pakistan on 4th and 5th September ahead of the Twenty20 series against the West Indies.
