The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Kia Motors have announced a partnership which will see Kia Motors sponsor the England Women's team.
As part of the deal, the players will be driving Kia Pro_Cee'd GT during the Women's Ashes series.
Speaking about the partnerhsip, Kia President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Philpott said:
"We already have strong links to cricket, with our long-term sponsorship of Surrey CCC and the Kia Oval – we are proud that we can now ensure that the women’s team can get to and from their all-important matches in a suitably sporting style. We wish them all the best for the Women’s Ashes Series."
England Women’s captain Charlotte Edwards added: "It’s a great boost for the team that Kia have come on board for this Women’s Ashes Series. We hope that it’s the start of a great relationship."
The Women's Ashes series, revamped for this year's contest, is already underway with the Test match at Wormsley and will also see the teams play three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals.
Each format of the game carries a maximum of six points for either side with the Ashes winners being the side to gain most points over the course of the summer.
