The Cricket World Club Cricket MVPs ratings, now in their third year, are published online on www.cricketworld.com, one of the leading cricket websites in the world, and will be known as the Kingfisher Beer Cricket World Club MVP Ratings.
Monthly prizes will be awarded to the player that tops the Kingfisher Cricket World Club MVPs Ratings in batting, bowling and overall, with an end of season opportunity to meet brand ambassador, Graeme Swann, King Beer's lead Ambassador for 2011.
Following on from India's ICC World Cup triumph in Mumbai, Kingfisher beer has strengthened its association with cricket in the UK by becoming a Test Match Ground partner for the England vs. India series due to start on Thursday 21st July at Lord's Cricket Ground.
Kingfisher will secure prominent branding in Test Match Grounds as England take on the ICC World Cup Champions in 4 npower Test Matches, 1 NatWest International Twenty20 and 5 NatWest Series One Day Internationals.
The sponsorship comes as Kingfisher Beer Europe Ltd. looks to re-launch Kingfisher beer across western markets. As a truly authentic Indian beer Kingfisher has strong links with cricket and sport in other markets. The brand, owned by Indian entrepreneur Dr. Vijay Mallya, already sponsors Force India Formula One racing team as well as Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore.
