Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club are celebrating after they won two trophies in the space of eight days - the T20 Challenge Cup and the Warwickshire Under 15s League.

To make it through to the T20 Challenge Cup, Knowle & Dorridge beat Division One leaders Ombersley by 56 runs.

A score of 166 for four was plenty thanks to a bowling performance that limited Ombersley to 110 for nine.

In the final against Wolverhampton, Knowle & Dorridge lost the toss but responded in magnificent fashion to reduce Wolverhampton to 50 for five.

From there, Wolverhampton managed a recovery of sorts and closed on 120 for nine.

And although Knowle & Dorridge lost Michael Hill to the first ball of their run chase, they got home thanks to Alex Phillips hitting 60 not out, being crowned champions at Cannock CC, which hosted the finals day.

Meanwhile, the Under 15s completed a fine season by capturing the league title for the first time in five years.

They started as they meant to go on, beating Walmley in a tough away fixture before a couple of games were abandoned due to rain.

Leamington were beaten by five runs and a victory over Aston Manor, their first game at home, saw them hold a one-point lead at the top following another few games affected by the rain.

A nine-wicket win over Moseley meant victory in their final match against Stratford would give them the title and they dominated their opponents, bowling them out for 35 to win by 105 runs.

The great thing for the club is that a number of players who were part of the Under 15s side that won - and retained - the title five years ago are now part of the senior set up.

How many players from this year's side will go on to bigger and better things?
