Kohli To Lead In Zimbabwe As India Rest Quartet
Virat Kohli will lead India's One-Day International squad when they travel to Zimbabwe for five One-Day Internationals later this month.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni suffered a hamstring injury during the ongoing tri-series in the West Indies and will miss the trip, with other players also being rested.
Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin as well as fast bowlers Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are not travelling after featuring in both India's Champions Trophy victory and the tour to the Caribbean.
In come Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinya Rahane, Parvez Rasool, Jaidev Unadkat and Mohit Sharma in a much-changed squad.
Sharma was perhaps the find of the 2013 Indian Premier League, taking 20 wickets for Chennai Super Kings while off-spinner Rasool is the first player from Jammu & Kashmir to earn a call-up.
The opening match is in Harare on 24th July.
