The Kolkata Knight Riders saw their hopes of progressing to the Indian Premier League semi-finals wiped out when match 47 of the competition was abandoned due to rain at Delhi.
The Delhi Daredevils were themselves in need of points, in fifth place in the competition but will have to be satisfied with the one point awarded to either side due to the abandonment.
The point moves the Delhi side up one place but with just one game remaining for them they will have their work cut out if they are to make it to the knockout stage.
Match 48 tomorrow sees the Kings XI Punjab take on the Deccan Chargers in Mohali.
