Lancashire CCC Shapes For The Future

Lancashire County Cricket Club has announced a change to the structure of the Club’s Senior Management Executive.

Lancashire is one of the world’s most successful cricket clubs both for a cricketing and business perspective; and recently has revealed plans to progress a large-scale sports lead regeneration scheme to include the Old Trafford cricket ground.

The Club has recently undertaken a governance review, and with the blessing of Members, changes to the Committee structure will take place later this year. To continue the momentum, Chief Executive Jim Cumbes has unveiled a change to the Management Structure, which involves the promotion of Geoff Durbin to the role of Commercial Director and Lee Morgan to Finance and Operations Director.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Jim Cumbes says: “Not only will this enable Lancashire to continue to thrive both on and off the field, but these changes mean we have the structure in place to drive the Club forward, ready to tackle the many challenges that such a large scale redevelopment will present.”
